Guylian one-of-a-kind chocolates are made with high-quality ingredients that have been painstakingly chosen, such as Fairtrade cocoa beans from from West Africa and hand-picked hazelnuts from the Mediterranean. Copper kettles are used in Guylian's factory in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium, to prepare the world-famous hazelnut praliné filling that was developed by their founder, Guy Foubert.
The packaging for Guylian Seashells may be recycled in its whole. The new packaging is made completely of FSCE board, which comes from forests that are managed in an environmentally responsible manner. This packaging might have been recycled before, but now that the glass has been removed, they can reduce the amount of plastic used even more. They are able to brag that their food waste is below 0.1% because to the Guylian methods that they have implemented at their production facilities.
