Spaetzle are typical Alsatian pastas that are cooked golden in a pan in butter. It is the ideal accompaniment to the game: Marcassin, deer or hare civet. They can be sautéed in a frying pan with small onions and ground beef, or with a minced poultry, a few cloves and chopped shallots.
