Delouis Reims vinegar is made using the same basic process as champagne and is aged in a barrel for at least a year. It's amber in color and has a slightly woody flavor.
This vinegar is aromatic but delicate, and it does not overpower the flavor of the ingredients it comes with. As a result, it can be added to salads, sauces, and even asparagus. It's also used to flavor and defrost a variety of meat and vegetable dishes, as well as mayonnaise.
Vinegars are the result of a natural fermentation that will transform the alcohol contained in wine or cider into vinegar. Delouis has chosen to ferment in a submerged environment that allows the vinegar to retain all the flavor of the wine used.
Vinegars can be flavored in different ways: by always natural or salty flavors, by sweet or savory concentrated juices, by aromatics and aromatic plants added by hand, as well as by fruit and vegetable purees.
