Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup butter
  • 20 carambars
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 2 1/4 cups milk 2%
  • ½ teaspoon of salt

Directions

  • Place 20 carambars in the milk for 8 hours in the fridge.
  • After 8 hours, place the mix on the stove to finish to dissolve the carambar, and remove from the heat.
  • Pre-heat the oven at 300 F. Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
  • Melt the butter, put aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine yolk and sugar. Beat until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Then add the butter and flour. Continue to beat.
  • Add the water and the mix milk with the carambar. Beat the preparation until you get a nice mixture.
  • In the other bowl, beat the egg whites using an electric mixer until foamy, then add the salt and continue to beat until soft peaks form
  • Mix your 2 preparation together then pour filling in your prepared pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
  • Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, and then put it in the fridge until you eat it!
